Privacy Policy for Spatial Reel

Our Approach

Spatial Reel is designed so your photos stay yours. Revivr Studios does not collect, receive, or track your photos, your reels, or how you use the app.

  • No Accounts or Sign-ins: The application does not require or allow you to create an account.
  • No Revivr Servers: Spatial Reel does not communicate with any server operated by Revivr Studios. There is no backend infrastructure. The only time the app sends anything over a network is when you choose to use SharePlay, described below.
  • No Analytics, Advertising, or Tracking: We do not track how you use the app, which reels you create, or how often you view your memories. The app contains no advertising and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Photos You Choose

Spatial Reel uses the system photo picker. The app receives only the photos you select, and cannot browse the rest of your photo library.

Stored on Your Device

Your reels, the photos in them, their names, your Projector Carousels, and your app preferences are stored locally on your device, inside Spatial Reel’s own storage. They are not uploaded to Revivr Studios. Deleting a reel removes its photos from the app’s local storage immediately. Combining reels into a Projector Carousel does not copy, change, or delete the original reels.

SharePlay

SharePlay is available in the Slide Projector and is used only when you choose to start or join a session. The Viewfinder is not shared.

If you start a session

  • What is shared: The people you invite receive a copy of each photo in the reel or carousel you present, along with its name and the names of the reels it contains. Spatial Reel also shares which slide is showing and whether Autoplay is on, so everyone stays in step.
  • Copies, not originals: Shared photos are resized copies, up to 1,536 pixels on the longest side. They are newly encoded images and do not carry the location or camera information stored in your original photos. Your originals are not changed.
  • Only the presentation: Nothing else from your library, your other reels, or your other carousels is shared.

If you join a session

  • The host’s photos are held by Spatial Reel only while the session is running, so they can be shown on your projector. They are not added to your reels or saved to your library, and the app clears them when you leave or the session ends.
  • Your own picture and placement adjustments, such as brightness, contrast, image size, screen position, alignment, and Auto-fit, stay on your device and do not change anyone else’s view.

How it travels

SharePlay photos and playback information travel through Apple’s SharePlay service, not through Revivr Studios. Revivr Studios never receives them. Apple’s handling of SharePlay is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Please share only photos you are comfortable showing to the people you invite. Like anything shown on screen, a participant could capture what they see.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Application refers to Spatial Reel, the software program provided by the Company.
  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our") refers to Revivr Studios.
  • Country refers to: Oregon, United States.
  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as an Apple Vision Pro.
  • Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. (Note: As described above, Revivr Studios collects none.)
  • Service refers to the Application.
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 16. Revivr Studios does not collect personal data from anyone, including anyone under the age of 16.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
